Shilajit Resin Directions for Use
Having experimented with various shilajits, I must express that this is the most palatable shilajit I've ever encountered. It carries a slightly tar-like flavor with a touch of grit. However, it's worth noting that its robust taste may not be immediately appealing to everyone.
Our shilajit resin is presented in a Miron glass jar, accompanied by one of our resin spatulas. The recommended dose is 100 mg, ideally taken first thing in the morning, roughly equivalent to the size of half a pea. The simplest method is to place the shilajit resin directly in your mouth, allowing it to dissolve or swallowing it.
Avoid combining shilajit with citrus juices, as this may enhance the bioavailability of aluminum content.
A word of caution: you might notice temporary discoloration of your lips or teeth, which is not permanent.
It's important to remember that you can mix shilajit with other substances to boost potency and absorption. If desired, you can take multiple doses spread throughout the day.
Note: Store this container in a cool, dry place. Ensure the jar and lid threads remain clean, as pitch residue can lead to the container becoming sealed shut. Please be aware that we cannot replace shilajit that has become closed in this manner.
Shilajit’s Side Effects
Shilajit boasts a rich history spanning thousands of years in Ayurveda, suggesting its overall safety. The absence of widespread disapproval implies that it would have faced criticism if it posed inherent dangers. Any potential side effects are more likely attributed to counterfeit or improperly processed variations.
Caution is advised for individuals with gout, as Shilajit may elevate uric acid levels. Diabetics must exercise extreme care, monitoring medications that lower blood sugar levels in conjunction with Shilajit.
Historically, pregnant women have used Shilajit, although this practice may be considered untested in Western contexts. It is recommended to consult with a doctor. Additionally, Shilajit has historical use with children, albeit in smaller doses.
Research involving rats, even with substantial doses, revealed no indications of liver toxicity or excessive iron levels. Our Shilajit resin aligns with California Prop 65 standards, ensuring extremely low levels of lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury due to meticulous raw material selection and processing. Shilajit, along with its fulvic acid content, appears ideally suited to aid the body in detoxifying heavy metals such as these.
